Re: Rare Red '96 SVX Lsi with 15K miles

Wow, that is wonderful! I would be very very interested if the price was lower. VERY. Its not a tough drive in any since for me. We must negotiate.

It looks like the sun has faded some of the plastic cladding. The reality is even if the price was droped to 10K it would still be a hard sell. Most not all SVX owners are cheap.

We aren't cheap we just have to spend an arm and a leg for anything else on our cars. I use up 7qts every oil change! I dread how much I'll have to use in my Impreza once I finish my EZ30R swap due to simular stock oil use + oil cooler and lines.

What they call it a vanity-plate. Shouldn't I be obligated to be vane with it?

If 7 quarts of oil burns up your car money or puts a dent in your budget. I suggest to anyone in the same position not to try or buy any price SVX.

Agreed. Some of us aren't wealthy, but we understand the costs and the importance of proper maintenance an SVX requires.

I think the price is more than fair considering the low mileage of this car. There may not be many with lower mileage left.

Good Luck with the sale. Didn't you mention having a Polo Green as well?

I would say further than anyone with GENUINE interest in purchasing this car would not move first to negotiate the price, but to learn more about the car. Doing the former is in poor taste and insults the party who has taken such care to keep this car.

It's RED.

Red paint is the most affected by UV fading. It will fade way faster than any other colour.

This is one of the reasons I'm not too fond of red cars, any red cars.

However, if you wanted to own an immaculate SVX, this one fits the bill. I'd love to be able to afford it. It should actually be bought by a museum.
