does this happen to anyone else?

for the last couple of days after driving (no matter the distance) i get out of the car and try to bend my right knee and there is a moderate to severe pain on the front left side of my knee...it seems to become less painful after i try to walk around for a bit but today it is still sore and i have been out of the car for about an hour....

any ideas?

I have the same problem. My orthopedic surgeon said get used to it, you're getting older. Hope it doesn't reach the point where I have trouble getting out of the SVX.

I agree with your orthopedic surgeon and mine as well.

I am getting older...
I don't want to get used to it...

And I have already reached the point described above. So its stop enjoying the SVX or get rid of the knee (and the pain) Hmmmmmm...

Getting a total left knee replacement on March 5. If all goes well, I'll do the other one in early fall.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?

Do you sit with a wallet in your right back pocket? For me with the firm seats in the SVX it positions you wrong, I do not notice the discomfort (not pain for me unless I drive more that 2 hrs) in m wife's van.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?

im 21 and after pulling the ten plus hour trip from michigan tech to detroit, I would have similar issues, i suffer from a bit of poor circulation, doc told me to try to keep movin while driving, and its kinkin veins and nerves, kinda like your leg falling asleep.

ill shift around alot during long drives, and try to keep slightly active, it helps a little!

Re: does this happen to anyone else?

I just drove from Abilene Texas to West Virginia in third gear,
in a 4.44 auto SVX.(Thank God for synthetics!)
1602 miles, about 27 hours of actual driving time,
and could not walk for two days.
Try switching the angles of the seat bottom and back to see what might be a better position.

funny boy.
Trip notes;
I NEVER get to Dealy Plaza
Arkansas has one 170# gray deer every three feet.
There is a really cool pyramid in Memphis TN.
Drivers in Nashville are so CRAZY that they make New Jersey drivers seem normal!
There is no place like home.
