Oil leak or worse?

Today i was letting my buddy here my cat-back camaro style exhaust, and after i was done revving i got out and noticed a little drippage from the pipes. so i wiped it with my finger and it was jetblack burnt oil with a little water in it...i dont know what this would be.. i just ran seafoam through it and i run 92 octane and do regular maintenance.
Im just about due for an oil change also
any ideas?

Re: Oil leak or worse?

I'm assuming this is coming out of the exhaust tail pipes?
If so, pretty normal for a 20 year old car. Even newer cars will have it happen. Especially when revving out the engine a bit. If you're not getting big blue clouds of smoke, I wouldn't worry.

Re: Oil leak or worse?

Was the engine at normal operating temp ,or was it a 1st time start up of the day? Condensation will form in the muffler because it is so far back in the system.
