Then you should be able to be paid to take a freaking Mini since a tranny rebuild in that POS will cost ya $8k. Granted, my friend got nearly double the life (90k) out if his then my mom got out of her tranny from the #1 rated auto company says CR.

I have a chance to buy a 2002 A8 w/80k for about 6500, what do recommend I look for? (or buy it at all?)

The oldest SVX will be leaving the herd soon, young guy at work wants to buy her...This A8 is very nice looking, but have not driven or checked out thoroughly enough yet to buy. Owner has tax problems, never registered it, very suspicious...
