I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Thumbs up Re: Best Reading Ever.

Figure I'll add my .02 here...

Seeing as this was my first Reading I don't have much to compare it to but I can see why this was the best and why this event is enjoyed by so many.
I'd like to thank everyone who was involved, from organizing, activity planning, securing the "visitor" cars and everyone who attended. I arrived not really knowing anyone and left making some friends. The hospitality of the entire group was amazing. Definitely looking forward to Reading XI and seeing how that tops this one.

I also didn't drink anything and had a blast!

On my list of things to do is get a photo of my dad wearing his body condom since he chickened out during the Jerry Springer show...err...raffle.

I will go into more detail of my experiences this passed week once I get home.

How did the donation bucket come out?
Did we get enough to cover the costs of bringing in the Pace car?....

It was great to meet you. It sucked that you hit your leg and ended up missing most of Saturdays events. Hope to see you and everyone else again next year.

We got most of it at the meet, but not quite the whole amount. There were a couple of members who did not have the money at the meet and said they would send a check to me when they got home.

The easiest way is to send it to me through paypal at jhoffman44@hotmail.com. be sure to add the remark that it is for the "Pace Car Contribution Fund", so it won't get mixed up with the hat orders.

Or else send the check to me at

Re: Best Reading Ever.

I KNEW that I would regret not being at Reading!! Sounds as if all had a blast - some remember, but I suspect others don't

Seriously, sorry I missed seeing everyone. I'll be back next year for sure - that means Randy MUST also be there......

I am enjoying the pics too. Great idea to consolidate them in one place. Can't wait to see the videos.

I put some in at the meet....but if it comes up short after a couple weeks, I'd be in for another $20 or so, just let me know.

We have faith John. You and the other top dogs (there are so many), always seem to wow us somehow. Perhaps getting Subaru to donate a 0 mile SVX out of one of the storage warehouses for a raffle? It might seem impossible, but none of us thought the pace car would ever be possible. Thanks for proving us wrong on that one!
