Flying back to Portland, returning to FL in mid-July to recover the SVX and drive back North in time to pick my wife up at the Indianapolis Airport & then attend my 40th Chaminade High School Reunion. A trip over to Rushford Lake (back in NY State) for a week of hot August fun with my Greatneices & nephews, then drop her off back at Indy and return in the SVX to Oregon.

Quite the summer trip: will be much more enjoyable than last year in a Ryder van at $4.50 a gallon for regular!

Re: Your Reading Laundry List?

Quick pic of the two SVXs being put away for the night, at about 3:00AM. (The lift is on safety locks, so no worries )

More progress last night. The motor is nearing completion. I am a timing belt (& covers) and intake away from it being ready to drop in.

Re: Your Reading Laundry List?

My reading list continues to grow. I have been cleaning the engine for a couple of hours a day for the last week, and I still can't get it looking nice. It's almost overwhelming.

I changed the oil today and had the car safety inspected, though.

I'm still not sold on bringing the car to Reading. Its condition is kind of embarrassing to me. I may show up in my daily.
