Fuel Injector Question
Ok.... So I got another shipment of SR20DET injectors yesterday from Japan. (its good to know people over seas) Anyways 4 of the 12 received don't have the plastic cap that goes around the pinnel. I think the place that I use to service injectors use the exsisting parts, and dont have extras. What im wondering is if the cap is just there to keep the o ring from sliding down, or if it has function for the spray pattern. In other words, will they function without that cap?

I would ask the mechanic and the company you ordered them through. If you need them then the company should ship the other 4 at no cost (since they should have shipped them in the first place)

they should be able to get those caps at your injector service place according to what I have read on the sr20 forums.
