So how much did this Koni GC setup cost (originally)? I'm interested in upgrading the suspension on my car, but not a whole lot. I do some auto-xing. Is there something a little simpler and a little cheaper I could do? THanks.

Well I spent a total of around $1100 after every thing for my koni GC set up. I was considering going with the stiffer springs, and reusing my old struts to save some money, but then i found out 3 of the 4 struts were blown so i went with the GC set up.

Yes, remove rear seat bottom, remove rear side trims to access screws that hold rear shelf before removing that.

Yeah, It's the same process for putting in new speakers. I've you've been considering it, now's a good time!

Once you do it once or twice it doesn't take long to remove the rear shelf.

I seem to recall motoblozco (pardon Misspelling) was selling custom springs and the whole strut-shock shebang..... I think you would only have to send him your core..

I will be doing the same if I save the cash. (Thats a LOOOONG time)

My Opinion

The Koni/GC setup really transforms the car into a handling beast. They are not very comfortable though. I believe that Dayle was offering a progressive rate spring, for those who drive on excessively rough roads.
