car is running really rough

i got the new pipe put on but the car is still acting the same...it just doesnt sound half as bad now

Mechanic said the other side was leaking too ( drivers side) so i should look into getting that done too.

Ok cool...if I order it, it won't get here in time anyway. I think I should be able to replace that on my own if you dont have it laying around . I bought new spark plugs too...i got the bosch platinum 4's as thats all they had in stock other than the champions

those are fine as well... I used them in my old motor until I blew it up... They are great plugs but you have a rough idle until the engine warms up a little...

yeah and good at fixing you certainly are!!

After getting the pre-cat pipe put on the car now smoked from the right side under the hood. The smoke looks like its coming off that pipe so maybe there was some oil on it that is now burning off? I do have a small oil leak but it never smoked like this before with the old pipe.

No sir....the PS is leaking quite a bit. When I take my car out of the garage i have a small puddle of tranny fluid. And ive checked the transmission dipstick and it is always full.

Agreed on the high pressure hose deal. I looked in the engine bay and followed the route of the hose and it looked like it was coming from that area. Where can I get a new one? At my local dealer? Part number?


On another note i was able to take the car on the highway today. When the torque converter locks up and u hit the gas the car rumbles and shakes from the front...but when i hit cruise control and keep it like that it seems to go back to normal for some reason. Kinda scary but I think I will keep it in cruise at 65 for the 3 hr trip to jersey saturday morning.

You should be able to get a HP line made for you. We did so for mine by reusing the connectors but I doubt we'd be able to do it again as you lose connector material every time you do this.
