Damn! What a disappointing end to the game. Talk about anti-climactic!

I'll be satisfied if it's better than Unreal II's end.

You should be able to play HL1 on the source engine for free... check out your steam icon.

He is the G-Man... you know how that goes...

It was still not what I expected. It's clearly the only weapon you need in the whole game. Shame they don't give it to you early on. But I was still unable to grab something 20 feet away and hold it out 20ft away while swinging it around. Am I missing something in the controls? I recall the preview videos where they were picking up barrels and people and holding them at a distance while moving them. All I can do is pull them right up to the gun and move them or shoot them.

I don't think you can do that in the final release.

Any theories to the G man and why he's there?

He apparently keeps Gordon and whats-er-name from being nuked and I think the citadel is high enough the city won't be destroyed even from a "dark fusion reactor" meltdown.
He says "time" a lot and can apparently alter percieved time.

So I started a new game, and I'm cruising around on the airboat, and I hit that barn.
Out of the corner of my eye there is a person standing near the top. When I get there he is gone.

But I caught him at the dam. Right as he started walking away I zoomed and screencapped his shady arse.

Man I thought he only talked like a pervert but he floats around watching your every move.

edit: Didn't get'em as good as I thought...
