If you used the trunk release lever by the driver's seat and it still doesn't unlock the trunk, you may have accidentally moved the "OPENER CANCEL" lever, located in the trunklid itself. It should be in the "down" position. When using the valet key (which only operates only the door and ignition), it prevents unauthorized access your trunk from inside. See page 5-23 of your owner's manual

As for the seats, there is a LOCK position on the back of the rear seatback, which is set from within the trunk or when your seat is folded down. Just like the opener cancel switch, it keeps the rear seat from being folded down to gain access to the trunk. See page 2-15 in your manual

The only solution I have is to have your Suby dealer cut a master key, using your VIN number or the number on your key. Then you can open your trunk, check the position of the opener cancel lever and check to see if the seatbacks were locked.
