100k Service

I spent a while on the search function but couldn't find what I needed....

My SVX just rolled 100k miles (yay!) and I wanted to do some service. I have a rear wheel bearing to tend to and I want to do some preventative maintenance as well. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Did you do the big 90k service? If yes then you probably don't have much to do.

I didn't do the 90k service. I think I am in for a lot.

I've posted this before. Don't know why it didn't show up on the search. Here's a scan of the Maintenance Schedule from the Factory Service Manual.

You beat me to it, I was just gonna post that!

60k intervals are the big ones, but the 30k one is pretty big too.

Edit: I'd recomend replacing the tranny fluid rathe than just inspecting if you've had the old fluid for more than like 15-20k.

If you haven't had any service performed on the car in awhile, then there's no '100k service' which will set everything right. My recommendation in that case is to do as much as you can afford. You car may be at a certain point in its mileage, but that doesn't mean that a service interval which suggests 'oil change' is going to be right for your car. Do what hasn't been done in a long time.

I did quite a bit @ 75k miles including plugs, belts, fluids. I have also changed tranny fluid as well as frequent oil changes since then. I mainly want to do the timing belt.

I know there has been a lot of talk recently about idler pulleys and seals as well as water pump while everything is open. What should I expect all of the aforementioned to cost?

This recent 'talk' suggests that it might be a good idea to replace those things if you're already replacing your timing belt, since pretty much the same labor is involved. Having those things replaced means you won't pay for the labor involved in getting to them at a later date.
