Can a shop hook up to OBD I
My brother wants to get codes for his 1990 Chevy Silverado 2500, but being a 90, wouldnt it be OBD I? If I remember correctly, shops cant pull codes for that can they? Cant they only hook up to OBD II?
Anyone know where I can find a codes list for this truck, lol. Google has been no help to me. Thanks -Dennis

Re: Can a shop hook up to OBD I
You can still read codes off older cars. Just have to make sure the shop has the OBD readers and the necessary plugs for the vehicle which most shops should have.
