It has variable cylinder management, just like GM had in 1984!

Not just like GM had in 84, Honda's system works. Funny thing about that commercial is a BRAT doesn't have a body on frame (there is a frame sitting there sans body). Obviously Honda loves the brat as their ridgeline gets virtually the same gas mileage as a BRAT does (took a ski trip in a pilot with 3 other guys and all our gear on which we got 28mpg- same as I'd get in my BRAT alone!) plus from the rear pillar back looks nearly identical to the BRAT.

Now if Subaru could make a BaHaHaHa 1/2 as good as the Ridgline I might be interested.

Saw the commercial but never noticed this. So they tried to pull the cement mixer with the Brat and it's rear axle popped off?

you got that right
they must have tied it to them .... duh?

I guess this is safe 'Subaru bashing' when you use a Brat
the average person won't even know it's a Subaru

Yea and I bet that brat probably had more miles than that Pilot will ever see. 1.8s (with valve tic's ) are indestructible. Except for this one.
