Question tranny service

1st post on this Forum: anyone know of a good garage and/or tranny shop familiar with SVX tranny service in the Portland area? I just plan on having a 100% fluid replacement made with synthetic or semi-synthetic fluid, wish to have the pan dropped, screen & magnet cleaned... Maybe a new in-line filter, although mine is only 40K old. I must be lucky: my '92's transmission went South @ 55K in 1998 and was replaced under warranty. I had purchased a 7 year / 100K warranty that refunded 100% of the warranty cost if you made no claims on it and either the 7 years or the 100K expired! It was nice to see that $1200 check come back in 1999!!

Where is the best place to tap into the line vis-a-vis the filter? Or would it not be better to first replace 100% of the fluid and then install the new in-line filter?

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

I do work on the side. I would love to service the tranny at a discounted rate.
