cheapest but good brake pads

I want to change my brake pads (all 4) just as general maintanence as its been 2 years since they have been done. With the way I brake I know they are probably worn out plus i can hear a very faint squeal. So where can I purchase the cheapest pads but also good quality? I have worn out rotors too as I get vibration when braking...been like that for a while now. I would like to buy all at once ( pads and rotors) but don't have the funds right now to do so.

The last time when I got my fronts done i bought pads from the local auto store for about 40 dollars i believe. Not sure if thats a good price or not. I guess ill call them tomorrow and find out.

Was looking on tirerack.com...that was the first site gave me for pads. And the cheapest they have so far is 27 bucks for the fronts and 34 for the rears.

Get some decent higher end ones that will last longer. EBCs are around $50 for the green stuff and I'm sure you can finde their OE versions for less.

I can do 100 for fronts and rears thats not really an issue. Just trying to save money up all that i can so i can make the reading meet.

Axxis Deluxe Plus pads on brakewarehouse.com. I've been running them on my car for three years. Great low budget pad. $34/pair for the rear, and $42/pair for the front.

ahh perfect!! Hows the brake dust with those pads? I clean my rims off once or twice every week so it doesn't really matter but im just curious.

As AvPPoW said, they do make some dust, but it seems to me that if you want an inexpensive pad, you can't have all the features of a high dollar pad. Otherwise, it would be a high dollar pad. :-)

Well yeah brake dust really doesn't matter to me since i clean my rims off a good amount during the week anyway. So as long as the life and quality with these pads are good then i think we have a winner!
