Is this assembly easyto get to from underneath? I'd like to see what I can do to fix it before I enter the next winter rally and I am completely dumfounded as to the exact location of this thing, and what it looks like. Quote:
As I experienced last winter, my SVX sitting stuck in the driveway (facing up a decline, no less), covered in a heap of snow, it does just that. My front left wheel stay motionless as my front right spun wildly. The car rocked back and forth due to the rears engaging but they weren't recieving enough power. I ended up using light pressure on the throttle and steering quickly back and forth to put some kind of friction on the wildly spinning front wheel to get out of there. To this day my SVX has never been stuck in a situation it couldn't get out of using it's own power. /digress Anyway I just think that's weird, but my car was driven for nearly 4 years in Georgie before coming up here so it would be no surprise if the valve assembly were "stale".

Well, I made an appt. for next week to try and get my AWD back.
I'll grab some lube at the pharmacy when I get some meds later. "Sorry kids, Santa needs his sleigh to work properly." |
