Shameless Plea to keep my car.

Well, I've been debating doing this for a while....And finally desided eh, what the heck. Those who don''t want to don't offend me, and if I offend them...well they weren't my type anyways . And since its all going to the car anyways...

This spring at Reading 5, I came forth then with yet another shameless plea for money. Selling CD's of the Jazz Combo 'Precisely Vague'. To pay for my gas home (In the end, I got home with 10 dollars left over, so the money I made got me home, thanks again guys )

WELL IM DOIN IT AGAIN! I'm going back to school, so my income has ended. And right at this time, My baby sweet heart 92 Liquid Silver has finally given up on her entire front brake system, rear wheel bearing, CV joint, both tirod ends, and her set of tires. I don't blame her a whit, cause she's old, and tired after 130 thousand miles. If I find I am unable to scrounge it up, She'll go into storage. Cold and Alone.

Sooooo...For any of you out there, who feel moved by this tragic tale of an 18 year old guy and his car that he never should of bought because he can't afford it, but will never get rid of unless its for another one....I'm once again peddling my own CD(way cool awesome sax player).

The website is www.preciselyvague.com . you can listen to sound bites of it there... CD's are 10 dollars a piece, but because of shipping I'll be sending them for 12.

Either PM me if you want to purchase one, or post here. my address is:

James Mercier
270 Keach Road
Colebrook NH 03576

If I recieve any mail with 12 dollars in it, I will automaticly ship a CD to the return address.

.......I'll shut up now and let you all blast me for owning a car I can't afford then soliciting you people....

I bought a copy of James' CD at Reading, and it is excellent. It's got a lot of old favorites on it, and James can really play the Sax!!

Two thumbs up!

Dude, I feel for ya... I think that after ya get the money for the parts we should have an "Install day"... Get everyone together for a weekend meet where you are and install it all on your car!! That's what the NASIOC guys do for guys that can't aford to take thier cars into the shop at the moment. I know how to do the Tie Rod ends, CV joints and brakes... But I have never done a SVX wheel bearing before .... Wish I could make it up there to help ya out!! But we are a family here, I'm sure that someone would be glad to help ya out...

If ya can't get it back on the road, just put it in storage for a while... That's what I did with mine when I had my Jeep... I saved so much money I was able to buy the 5 speed kit and Wheels and tires!! Whatever ya do, DON"T GIVE IT UP!!!

Sounds like you would need to sell alot of CD's to fix all that....and as I'm sure your a great sax player, I'm not sure how much of it I could stand to listen to for so long. BUT! I do have parts that I could contribute for charity prices. So if you want give some more detailes (Inner or outer tie rods?, How much of the front brakes?) and then we shale see what we can do.

The brakes worked good at Reading

Parts and Money

Well brakes are done... needed a new caliper, rotors, and pads in the front which pulled more money out of me cause I didnt expect the caliper...

Now for Tirod ends (both), CV joint, and some one to install this wheel bearing I have. and tires and alignment....and a drivers seat, passenger side door panel, drivers side door panel( mine are all slightly oiled.) oh yea, and a new paint job to cover my other new paint job w/ key marks...

This list gets longer the more things I remove from it.

Subafreak: I can get a new CV joint for it from a friend for 80. as for tirods, what can ya offer? (puts on biggest puppy face)

And then there's the door panels and seat to take care of too.

And a new transmission.....hahahahahahahahahahaha...oh that joke will bite me in the butt I know it...

Used. Why would I have new ones sitting around?
