Ravi:

It would be great if we could all get together in this area one of these days. I'm willing to drive up to Baltimore on a weekend day, if necessary.

126K is a lot. I've got 129K on my Infiniti M30 convertible, which is more or less garaged for the winter. I'm trying to save it. I figure these cars can go 200K.

Richard, you should've been at Canaan Valley, WV. We had a heckuva time. You'll definitely need to plan on Reading. 30+ SVXes all in a row, along with a chance to meet some of your favorite online crazies.

My car's getting ready to roll over to 170K and no signs of stopping. Doug Mohr has well over 200K on his SVX and he'll be at Reading. He's driving from MI, and I'll be driving from KY. I believe Doug's about sixteen hours away, and I'm around 14. No excuses for you "close-by" guys not to make it.

I will talk to john also and we all will try to get together on any weekend.
I hope I don't sell my SVX before Reading, only then I will be able to make it at reading.

Aredubjay:

I am planning to attend the Reading meet. It's only about three hours from the Washington area, possibly less. I probabliy will come in on the morning of the meet, that Saturday.

The only other club member I've met has been Olu (SVXit), who lives here in Silver Spring. He also has a '92 Pearlie. Good guy.

FANTASTIC! You actually have a bunch of members in your area, so, you could actually have a decent sized meet in your area. I met Olu for the first time at the Vermont Meet. He is a great guy. Of course, I say it often, I've been around these people for almost 2 years now, online and in person, and have yet to meet a bad apple in the bunch. I remember how fun it was to meet Don Dinaro at the first Reading meet. He had just taken a sound thrashing in a Yahoo flame war. And, he was brand new to the board. Did that keep him from coming to the meet? NO! HAHAHA! A true case of "forgive and forget." I look forward to seeing you there!

I look forward to meeting you, too. And you're right: there are a lot of good people in the SVX club. Am glad I joined.
