Wheels...
I was inspecting my wheels yesterday and decided that their blistered and dull appearance was detracting from the rest of the car's decent condition. Has anyone attempted to bring them back to the original factory look? I'm not into the chrome or high polish look on such a sleek machine (just my humble opinion) So I was looking for ideas to bring them back up to snuff. Thanks.

Yup
Check out my locker under wheels. I had mine sandblasted and powdercoated. I also repainted the centercaps.

If they're blistered and dull, I'd say painting or powdercoating is the only to bring them back to the "original factory look." dcb |

Yes, as soon as I repair my broken right front center cap (stupid tire jockys!) I plan on painting them. Those refurbished wheels look great Todd. How much did that set you back? My wheels are in much worse condition than that. They're all bubbled and peeling along the inside edge of the blades....

I had my wheels restored by Transwheel. They look like new inside and out. Perfect! Not cheap though. They come with a lifetime warranty. You can call Brady Benson At Transwheel for more info. 800-358-5040 X153. It would not be possible to make them look any better. Actually the finish is probably better than new.

Transwheel
Hi everyone, I also have gotten wheels from Transwheel. One set I bought outright and one set I returned a set on an exchenge basis. I don't know what they looked like before they were remanufactured but they looked great when I got them. With the credit for the returned wheels you end up paying about 25% of the price of new oem wheels, if they were still avaiable. Take care, BOBB

I also heartily endorse Transwheel as well. After a lot of exhaustive research, I decided to use them and was probably the first one at the network to use their services. They are extremely professional and accommodating. It has been my pleasure to be able to recommend them to my friends here.
