10th Avviv. SVX Meet...Misc. Musings

Hi All,

A few comments about this meet from start to end are listed below:

1) I learned that dogged persistance is not enough, Something of this magnitude is way too much for one person. Next time volunteers & various commitees will be be needed. I want to personally thank Michelle (Copper Tone SVX). She was the only volunteer.

2) There was talk of 13th, & 15th Anniv. SVX Meets. If they are in Lafayette, let's do it in late Sept. or early Oct. July was just too HOT.

3) Many of you told me that your e-mails to me were returned.
My home e-mail addy is in my profile + my 2 e-mail addys are:

I will incorporate these e-mail addys in my post 'signature'.

4) Michele had many e-mails returned undeliverable. Please, please, please, everyone UPDATE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS.

Larry,
I am certain that you (as the organizer of the (great) meet) and Randy (as the pres) will be sending letters to SIA for the great time they showed us at the plant tour, but would you post the SIA address along with the names of our guests (and especially the SVX designers (spelling is not my thing) - what a very pleasant surprise that was!). I for one would like to write them a letter to express our appreciation for all that they did. BTW, do you know that all of them were in the parking lot until we all had departed? I know - John Hoffman and I were the last ones to leave. I believe they were impressed that a group of guys and gals love one of their cars so much.

Again, thanks for all you did to organized the meet!
