MD Automotive
MD Auto here in San Antonio is probably the greatest shop i've EVER had to deal with. I'm always more than satisfied with their work (they go over and beyond what I ask them to do) and I think their prices are very reasonable.
For future reference, a tranny swap from them is: $471.68 + $100 (If you use a different gearing and they have to swap the LSD rear diff stuff), with a rough total of: $571.68 for a gear changed SVX out the door, +/- depending on acouple of things, and add $250.00 for a brand new Torque Converter (if you're using a 4.11 tranny) **Price is if you already have a 4.11/4.44 tranny+rear diff** MD Automotive 7454 FM 1560 N. San Antonio, TX 78254 (210) 688-2366 If you ask for Chris and tell him I referenced you, you'll probably get somewhat of a discount. They know SVX's pretty well now, and have a copy of OT's tranny swap how-to. The work is great and they do just about everything besides major body work. Dustin
