They look like something designed by someone whose principal artistic strength is origami.

Now Dayle's two Mitsubishis are the opposite side of that particular design streak: short, butch, purposeful and balanced in proportion.

Subaru used an XT6 mule to road test the SVX suspension and chassis. For me, the SVX is the shape of car that the XT should have been.

I mean no offense guys, for me the XT is a shape that is really difficult to like.

Joe
No Offense taken Joe....I honestly didn't care much for the Xt's when I first saw them either....but after owning one for a while, they kind of "Grow" on you...and they are a blast to drive....much lighter, and more nimble than a stock SVX

Yes, that actually is about what I would figure them to be. They have a pretty nice interior, it's the outside shape I react to I suppose.

Do they rust?

Joe

Being EA series cars, they have the typical 80's Subaru factory installed rust. No better or worse than any late 80's japaneese car tho.

It's funny you word it that way. This is a blurb about origami that mentions Giugiaro, the the designer of the SVX...

There are endless examples of the influence that the millennia-old art of paper folding commonly known as origami has had on design, art, architecture or fashion. On August 11-12 an extraordinary workshop focused on origami as a source of inspiration for artists and designers..."

Huck, I'm surprised you didnt mention the true meaning of the XT shape/design. It has the same aerodynamic coefficient as the Corvette of the same era. Altho its far from being in the same body class

Talking Is this thing ON?

Yep, I'm here. I don't get a chance to play online much, but this website is an excellent source of information. Thanks.

I am excited that I recently repaired my misfire.
When hot, in gear, w/park brake engaged, the misfire is exaggerated. I just unplugged injectors until the stumble had an even gait.
VIOLA! Number 6 had no change. I ordered a #1 coil pack (because it will work in 4 of the 6 positions with the longest lead) and installed it in about 15 minute before work the other day. So far, no more misfire and my mileage went up by 4 mPG!
