Hi, my name's Andrew. I own a 92 dark teal Svx.

Joined a few days ago. Found this site about 6 months ago and found it again when the plastic top on my radiator split open two months ago. Have a 92 model which I bought in Jan 93. Was dealer demo. Obviously owned it ever since and in pretty much as bought condition. 124,000 km or 77,000 miles.Think Subaru only sold 249 in Australia. Haven't seen another SVX on the road for years. Suspect it is ebony mica metallic and onyx metallic top - looks black. Transmission failed when out of warranty and had short legal discussion with Subaru. They rebuilt the transmission with modified components for free. Working my way around the site, particularly radiator. Read fitting problems with PWR and Nikfu S Installation notes. Spoke with PWR today and they want to get the dimensions correct. They immediately sent me their dimensional drawings. Will either provide changes to dimensions or take to their factory with fans attached and Nikfu S's instructions. Subaru quoted me $2100 AUD for radiator. PWD said their list price was $850 AUD but suspect they would sell cheaper. Don't have other OEM replacement radiators in Aus. As you might guess I still love the SVX although I have other vehicles which I mostly use.

After a 10 year hiatus (1992 Pearlie LS-L) as an SVX owner, came back to the "bright side' with the purchase of ex-Jerry's, ex-Don & Jean's 1992 Dark teal LS-L . The "Teal Deal" will be enjoying the 2 lanes of western NC from now on.
