Just a heads up: Unhook the battery before pulling or installing a security module - it has been suggested before that doing so with power to the module can damage them.

Well, that's a GOOD tip. I did install one "replacement" without disconnecting the battery. It didn't work, even though the seller was adamant that it was a working unit.
