one last question then ill stop for awhile

the tire size to buy to fit on the stock rim is 225/50-16 correct?

Yep, that's what came standard on the car, plus all weather and V speed rated. Is your plan to get 4 new ones? B.

You can also go with 225/55-16 or 225/60-16, smaller might allow for better handling.

That was what I was getting at... if you have 2 GOOD new 55 series and can match the model , size and rating exactly for 2 more... you could save some $.

well the plan is to get 4 brand new tires...looking into yokohama decibels or something by cooper...just wanted to make sure about the size though, any suggestions on brand?

The Yoko AVS dB is the most popular choice but I like the P7000s. I've always run Pirellis.

I don't know much about Cooper, they have a good rep 'tho. This Cobra ZHP looks nice.

yeah so ive heard...my dad is mainly taking control of the tire situation...i just gave him what i thought would be good...the yokohama's, but we'll see come monday or tuesday as to what i eventually put on. ill let you know
