Lwin's Digiital Dash
The audience is standing and applauding. Up on the stage a figure in a purple sequin, strapless evening gown walks across the stage. He is wearing matching purple seqined pumps with clear acryllic stiletto heels. Every time he steps down, fuschia neon lights inside each heel blink. He arrives at the podium. A hush settles slowly over the the crowd. He adjusts the microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, Today, behind this curtain is the future of automotive dashboards. The curtain slowly rises. There is a collective gasp from the crowd. On the left side of the stage, Captain Picard and the entire crew of Enterprise are standing on the bridge of that great starship. Behind Worf, between counseler Troi and Dr. Crusher is an alien clothed only in a zebra striped bikini brief and a black and white silk sash with the words "El Presidente" emblazened across it. On the right side of the stage is a huge X-Box and Play Station . Both are controlled by a tall thin figure in a cube costume. The cube is covered with all types of different pockets. Each side of the cube has the number 47 printed on it. In the center of the stage is a huge dashboard. A single spotlight plays over the dashboard. The sequined gentleman on stage takes the microphone . He speaks one word into it. "Engage!!!" Suddenly the dashboard comes alive. LEDs twinkle, neon ights pulse, video screens show simulated scenes as if the car is racing down a curvy road. The speakers in the dash emit sounds of tires squealing at the limit of adhesion with the throaty rumble of a highh tuned exhaust in the brackground. The audience leaps to its feet. The applause is deafening. The man behind the podium, in the purple sequined evening gown curtsies. The crowd goes wild. He takes the mike and slowly speaks. " They say that behind every great man is an even greater woman. I'd like to introduce the one behind me." He points to a young lady in the front row and says, "Stand up and take a bow, Kelli." The young woman stands and acknowledges the audience. She is obviously slightly embarrased. She is dressed in an NCE sweatshirt, faded blue jeans, and a pair of old, ratty sneakers. Her hair is slightly disheveled. Larry III PS: Lwing, is this what you had in mind?

that was just simply beautiful, you should write books BTW, when i learn how to scan pics again, which might be today...i got pics of the meet at Ollies with you and your lovely wife in them. hope all is well in car land...right now i am in workland on 3 hours of sleep... Kelli
