That's because the WRX knows it should be a manual

One thing that is nice about the fact that there are slushbox WRXes out there, is that since most people want the 5 speed, I've seen auto WRXes for 10k, it's pretty close to being cheaper to buy one with a slushbox and convert it to a manual than it is to buy one that's a 5 speed.

You'd think with the WRX being a sports car, that the auto would at least have the sport shift, or paddles, or something...

That's another thing that ticks me off, is that the 2009 Forester Turbo comes slushbox only

Re: Anyone own a Baja?

I hated my Baja. Sold it after 6 months.

The bed was too small to be useful, it was heavy, slow, the interior is nice but that's it.

If you need a car but want truck capabilities, get a small utility trailer and a hitch. You can't safely put more than 300lbs in the Baja's bed anyway. With a 5MT and a GM V6 in the back, the Baja would barely friggen steer. What an abomination of a vehicle.

Once in my '86 4WD GL wagon I made the mistake of loading firewood with too much weight aft of the rear axles. Drove like the front wheels were about to come off the ground.

What I really want is for Subaru to make that car again.

I'd rather own a kite than another Baja

I mean, they're neat vehicles, I just found it totally useless for my purposes.

wasn't available in canada.

But the turbo still doesn't make it any more practical.
Fast car with a trailer > Baja, any day of the week.
