Re: WTF!!!?? what a waste

I'd buy it.

Take off those bling rims, put on some 15" steels and some 33" swampers, put a roll cage on it, and be the biggest pimp on the Rubicon. I wonder what mudrat designs would do with this.

The day I broke my old Legacy jumping it at the OHV area I saw an old Cutlass on a late '70s chevy truck frame and 44" tires on the dunes. I was limping my car home and asked the guy if he'd just sell it to me on the spot. He wanted $25 grand to cover the expense of the build, so I ended up buying the SVX. No regrets.

this kinda makes me want to gouge my eyes out, after rinsing the taste of vomit out of my mouth.

and mud rat designs would charge you 10k to cut it in half then you would go to his house to retrive both halfs 1 year full of bull **** later.
do not pay that guy till he hands you the finished product

I saw a thunderbird like that once. At the rifle range. In Texas. It was pretty cool.

Have you ever directly done business with John? Or are you speaking for the guys on the USMB? Part of what happened was he bit off more than he could chew in terms of building bumpers and such, since there was such a demand for them but he couldn't build them quick enough, then some tweakers stole some from the powdercoater, so he had to build them again, at his expense, since the powdercoater wouldn't reimburse him for his time or the material (but did coat the new ones for free), he's not a bad guy at all, I know him personally and he's gone way out of his way to help me more than once, and he's never even come close to ripping me off.

John blew it because of the way he handled the whole situation. Theres documented proof of his screw ups and I could probably dig up some court papers too. He only follows thru with the people that live near by.
But most people here dont have a clue as to what we are talking about, so lets drop it.

This has been spotted in my area.....

Its a wee bit more.....tasteful.

With the car it is derived from being so mercilessly ugly there is strong validity in taking the design and exaggerating its features in the direction of the absurd.

Strange as it may seem it is possible the guy/guys that did this have more intelligence about motor design than the lot who designed the original.

Ugly is ugly. What can you do about it except highlight how ugly it is?

Joe
