Cool I'm Ba- a-ack!

Hi, Guys!! (and Gals!!)

(I posted this message on the 'old' Yahoo forum, so I thought it'd be easier to 'paste' it in here, too. Pardon me to anyone that has to read through it a 2nd time.

I 'jumped through all the hoops' and signed up for this terrific new website. Whoever created this new SVX site deserves a big gold star- KoolAid and oatmeal cookies for everyone!!)

I've been "away" for way too long; been busy building a new house (for anyone interested: http://www.tentech.com/personal.htm) and haven't had time to check in on our SVX Club.

I just peeked in to see what the status of "The Meet" was and was thrilled (162 cars!! / 225+ people!!) and dismayed (only room for 75 people on the factory tour?!?).

Question for the person setting up the tour- Couldn't they do "2"
tours and allow 150 people (75 + 75) to view the factory? Sounds
like they need some more volunteer staff or whatever to help "sponsor" a very dedicated group of Subaru fanatics through
their facility. I'm kind of bummed checking back in after a long
absence and finding out that I might not be able to tour the factory
because of "space". I think they could try a little harder; after
all this isn't a bunch of schoolkids on a fieldtrip.......

Question for Larryiii- I went to your Briefcase and "The Meet"
folder was empty. Either I'm viewing it wrong or the info isn't
there anymore. I know at one time there was a list of people (and
their "position") posted. I'm a little curious to check out which of
our "regulars" are going. There's a bunch of people we've chatted
with who would be fun to meet face to face.

Lemme know.

Best regards,

-Mark

P.S.- I found most of the info again in Larry's 'stuff'. Thanks to tsutsuhund for pointing the new site out to me. I'll try not to be such a stranger again. See many of you soon.

Mark,
I posted to your post posted in the post about the 10th anniversary post.

Darned good to have you here. I'm sure you'll find the surroundings "comfy" and the chatter just as crazy as our early days at "The Y."
