I love how it screams like a bat out of hell when I need to avoid old geezers making 2.5mph turns without getting creamed by the guy in the F150 trying to do the same.

My car is an extension of me.
When I'm driving her, I feel like we have a symbiotic relationship.
I know there are others out there who understand and feel the same way.
I also treasure the community found here more than anyone probably even knows.
My Penny is my love.

Crazy? most certainly not.

I have owned many cars and the SVX is the only one I have not had to modify, in order to secure a proper driving position.

The non draft windows should be a feature of all cars. When I first saw one i could appreciate the advantage. Why is the market so stupid.

The "Market" rarely thinks, it just accepts what is common as what is right - and different has to be wrong. "Hey look at those crazy windows! They're so silly!" End of thought.

I like the car for all of the reasons already mentioned....I also like the svx because of the strong history and quality and durability of an exceptionally built vehicle. There seems to me such a strong heritage and remarkable story behind the creation and coming to market of the svx. I look at all the other cookie cutter cars out on the road today, and the lack of creativity and depth and appreciate my svx that much more.

I certainly have to agree that I feel connected to the SVX while im driving it. Its a feeling I still havent felt in any other car and one reason why I dont like driving other peoples cars, I always feel isolated from the road and no other cars make me feel as confident on the road as my SVX.

Spot on Jerry.

There have been many excellent innovations which slipped by the wayside for this very reason.

Never tired....

Things I love most about The SVXY SVX:
1. The styling
2. The wine of the engine as you break the 4000 rpm barrier
3. The fact that it handles the way you expect it to (My third subaru and they all handle the same)
4. The most important thing of all... I get incredibly bored with cars. I am 27 and have owned almost 30 cars. None of them wrecked or anything like that. I get tired of them. This is the only car that I can look out of my door and smile. Driving the car never gets old....

Will

And now for some details about why we love this car. What are the small things (specific little details) you love about the car. I'll start:
1) The stock stereo am\fm\cassette\cd with six awsome speakers. Sounds great, looks great.
2) The resin trunk lid held up with struts that closes just by dropping it from an inch or two with the most lovely and high quality thud I've ever heard.
3) The leather and 'Suede' interior. That's a sweet combination.

1. The illuminated door key holes
2. Directional rims
3. The door over the stereo
4. the fact that I require 4 different keys to open all my cars locks and start it.

With used or older car, there always problems.
I my love SVX
1. I prefer driving it over 100mph than my mother's '98 Lexus GS 300
2. Prefer balance of luxury and sport
3. Better than most cars under $30,000
4. Unique
5. Smooth and good power band

It take me where I want to go and I smile while getting there

Now with 235,000 miles on the engine this SVX gets 28 mpg

With 305,000 miles on the body the SVX has very little rust

A really quiet ride, a very non-bodily energy draining ride [Big Grin]

A highway car that's is easy to commute in [Big grin]

A very unique looking car that sometimes gets the "look" [Big Grin]
Yup! You never saw one of these before?

High quality materials that last and last and last last

Easy to repair DIY SVX

25% parts discount at Liberty Subaru

Knowing the SVX, a heavy car, a strong car, made to go 140 mph, will protect me

The time I took this SVX to the drag strip!!!! and ran it

The time I took this SVX to the Pocono Speedway and raced it !!!!

1) Getting from Pennsylvania to New York City in about 30 minutes - - and the ride being quiet and smooth as silk

2) Getting thumbs up from legacy/impreza owners and curious stares from everyone else

3) Suede baby!

All the time I thought girls were walking into poles looking at me! Maybe it was my SVX!
