Oh crap. I knew something sounded funny; the dealings I've had with members here thusfar haven't included adding $2 on top of shipping and all for the paypal fee.

Well... we'll see if the part shows up... I'll give it a week. I sent him the funds on the 4th of May, so with luck this'll just go well and It'll show up. I'd much rather have the part than the money...

I'll pitch my torch into the hay once it's been proven. As I said, I'd rather have the part than make trouble. I'm still hopeful that it will arrive safe and sound.

This tends to be fact through private "sources" or assumptions made upon region alone. Im tired of it. Becuase what it really cooks down to is 2 or more people trying to fight for supremecy in the business of destroying the cars we are all here to enjoy.... So people need to ditch the capitolistic attitudes because parting out cars is NOT an occupation and should never be considered for monitary solice. If you part your car, it should be in an effort for these parts to go to a good cause, NOT to the highest bidder

Yep, We've heard it all before.

I wouldn't put it past you to sell a few small things and actually ship them first and then shoot for the big stuff like trannies and so on before you start conning.

I bought a pair of fans on eBay (item 110118983347) and I NEVER buy from anyone unless their feedback is nearly perfect. So this person selling the fans has 893 feedbacks and 99.6% positive!!!

So after reading this thread and following the links back and reading those, I decide to take another look at my seller. Well out of 893 feedbacks, all but 9 were as a buyer, not a seller.
And one of those 9 was negative, check it out:

Negative feedback rating "i bought a house from this guy and when i got there old people were living in it"

I'm like, GREAT, I've been had too! Then I get it. LOL

But after some more looking at the the sellers buy/sell items, it doesn't seem very likely this ebayer would just happen to be selling a pair of SVX radiator fans, and no other SVX parts either. So now I'm wondering if some scammer has hi-jacked their ebay account. I sent payment though paypal on 4-30, no parts yet as of 5-8. I sent an email tonight, I'm hoping I get a good response...

Am I paranoid or what?

Well, I sent in my complaint with PayPal yesterday... it looks like this guy just vanished. No response from PM, no response from e-mail, nothing. I want my $52 back.

Welcome to the site, we should be able to help you with most of the needs you have for your car. Unfortunately it looks like the person who initially offered some parts for sale in this thread has been ripping a few people off. You may want to wait and see if you can find another.

Sorry, for the bad news, most of the members here are going to be honest and helpful, but like anything there are a few bad apples. If you have any questions about the person your looking to buy from, do a search for their name and also check out the buyers beware thread at the top of the "Wanted or For Sale" forum.
