Aiming rear washer?
Thanks to the SVX DVD I ordered, I discovered to my surprise that there is a rear washer! I had seen the resevoir in the trunk before, but couldn't seem to find where it exited. Today I was driving along and tested it, and found out where that bugger shoots from.
My problem is... DAMN it shoots high!!! It half sprays my roof! Any way to adjust the aim to make it shoot to the middle of the rear window instead? |

Section 6 of the FSM says when the car is stationary, the spot to aim for is 10.25" from the nozzle.
Measure this distance up vertically from the end of the rear nozzle and mark the rear window with a felt tip marker. Have someone inside the car operate the washer while you adjust it to hit that exact spot. .

The nozzle constitutes a small sphere, tightly fitted within a housing and it can be moved in any direction as is required. Yours may be seized up, so first give it a spray with CRC or whatever. Find yourself a strong large needle, or something stiff which will fit in the jet orifice. Use this to turn the jet to a revised position. Make sure your tool is not too brittle such that it might break off in the jet. (With possible comment in mind, I chose to not include the obvious, i.e. that the article should be stiff. )

I've used a common straight pin to aim the washer nozzles.
