Parting out? What's wrong with the car? Have you tried selling it? There are members here who will buy one even with a dead tranny or motor.

If the car's working, sell it!

Budfreak is on Akron, only a couple hours from you. I'm sure he'd be up for doing any work you need.

Yep, I'd be happy to fix it up for you or buy it from you if the price is right. How much would you sell it for? What's wrong with it?

like i said the radiator. you would have to put the whole dash back together, wheel bearing on passenger rear keeps goin out. some **** wrong with the throttle. i dont even know how much i would sell it for. if someone made the right offer i would sell it. i would love for someone to but it and keep em on the road, but no one around me wants one so i thought i should part it out to help other people keep thiers on the road.

The best I could offer is $300 right now and I assure you that the SVX would get put back together and fixed for either a new owner or for my stepdad. Just PM me and let me know and we can work on something.

P.S. I could probably fix it for you for about $500. Just a very rough estimate.

300 is nowhere near what i was expecting for the right offer. i know i could part it out for more than that.

Yeah, But it won't happen quick. Trust me. I've been parting one for a year now and I still have a lot of it. You won't make what you think either parting it or whole especially in our area. Just my honest 2 cents as I've been doing business around here in this field for awhile now.

P.S. Why is the dash all ripped out?

spend a few hours....get a used radiator or one of the ones on ebay for $150, replace the bearing and put the dash back together. sell it whole and you will get offered closer to what you consider "reasonable" for under $250 and a weekend the car should be in decent condition.

Agreed. Here:

Replacing the radiator is really easy.

Ya might want to look locally for the hood. Or get a fiberglass one from svxfiles or dayle (lighter= cheaper shipping).
