SVX Song (eye of the SVX)

Ok so its like eye of the tiger you know that one from Rocky

I've got the eye of the SVX
the thrill of the drive
I've got funny lookin windows and I know it
But when its snowin
and I've got my All Wheel Drive
all those little honda cars they can blow it

Hooray for when the AWD works. Uh yeah, there thought I would just throw that out there.

Why is it so many of the people on this board have this unhealthy relationship towards Honda? They don't even have a car in the same league (nothing against Hondas or their following) as the SVX. They have no competition for what our car is. So why do people feel like they are competing with them?

Be comfortable in the fact that you own an exotic. Its destinguised. Luxurious. Quick, and Grand. Competeing with them (even in your own mind) demeans your SVX's guys! If ya need to feel competitive. Look at Lexus BMW and Porcha, and then look at yours. Their, is your league boys. And what they have is alot more common. Thats a +1 for you. Wanna compete in who has the most awesomeness in their cars? Thats the market

Nothing against your little ditty...just wanted to share that with the rest of the world...

I'm not defending Honda or anything, but, they do have a lil' car called the NSX, kinda exotic, kinda fast. And PLEASE don't tell me it doesn't count cause it's an Acura.

I have no clue why people think Honda's Blow......The rediculous reliability my honda civic has is what allows me to put the extra money into my tubo svx. If i were to drive that thing daily i would be broke as a joke....even if it it was NA

Meh

Hahaha. Forgot about the NSX ( its not EXACTLY honda....) That car rox...

OK, they HAD one in a line, that is exceptional (I mean that literally). I think that kinda puts the two companies as a whole, more on par.

Even so, I just don't get it

I've had 4 hondas, I like them all except the 97' Acura I have now. I don't know what it is but I can't get comfortable in that thing. The seats just suck. I find myself cruising in the SVX because it's so much more comfortable.

I must say my Preludes were a blast. And the GF's 93' Accord is fun.
Just don't put a bag of groceries on the passenger seat and drive uphill.

It's interesting. The design of everything on the 97 CL is basically the same as the 85 prelude I had and I've never replaced more then struts cv joints and two timing belts despite driving about 400,000 miles over 12 years in these cars. I guess honda has a formula for reliability that works.

.........

Ok lets all have a round of applause for Honda!! HEHE.

But also, I am doubting that when the honda bashing is going on, ANYONE is thinking of the NSX. which still makes my arguement ...

And I think Captain Picard is right. sorry. lol

Which begs the question, what race from Star Trek is the SVX?

It's got some Klingon in it, for sure, but I'm thinking it's more Romulan,
powerful, temperamental and you don't see them very often.
