the Skylines were badass cars, though - lots of power, AWD, and looked menacing. they were legends in the U.S. mostly because you couldn't get one (without a lot of effort and $$$). it first showed up in 1955, and had ties to the Emperor of Japan.

DOn't foget what kind of loss they are seeing through the AWD. Thats like a 1500hp engine with 800ftlbs. There is nothing more sick than that. Also to comment on the chatter about other super-cars of the 90's, my brother's Z made about 400 wheel before it burned down. Stock motor turned to redline on 16lbs of boost easily, these car were made to make power and then de-tuned so they could sell them in the states. A little "tweaking" and they were monsters again

i almost bought a beautiful black '95 (?) Supra TT with 30k miles on it about 6 or 7 years ago. it was bone stock. i'm still kicking myself for not doing it - i could have sold it now for more than i would have paid it for.

Skylines are SexAyyyyyyyyyy, too bad the middle east never knew about them.
I saw an automobile documentary on TV made for Nissan Cars. They tested a Japanese specs Nissan Murano, Skyline (Hotty) and another one I forgot the name.
Those Japs had bodykits and tuneups I never saw in my entire life, even on the Web . Those Japs are just lucky with this individualism.
You shouldv'e seen the Murano with that bodykit... GOD it looks even better than the luxurious Infinity...

Those 3.2L wedges were pretty fast cars, indeed. Too bad they've appreciated in value lately, like the Supras (well, Supras just never lost their value), or I'd be looking into one seriously.
