I went with the flowmaster 80, sounds good, but it resonates really loudly about 2000 rpms. I gut the cat however and took out the resonators and all the heat shielding. still a vibration somewhere.

[B]Exhaust tips are not OEM. IIRC, they are Magnaflow brand tips, ... slight oval shape.[/BI definatly want to go with borla, I like the performance, and sound. Why didn't you go with the borla tips I think they're the best looking.

Oh and I was wondering if anyone had the deminsions on borla 20233 exhaust tips to see if they would fit the stock opening?

2.75" is not too tall, but if the width is 6 7/8", that's probably a little too wide. You're going to pay $175 for one set of exhaust tips?

I've found some for less than half that. I just didn't know if they would fit, I would also like to go get some to see if they would even look good on the svx

I noticed that on the time I have been on this website, no one here has a Flatt exhaust or at least seems to. If anyone does can they tell me how they are, just curious?

Hay Michalio, do you have any cats in that system?

I voted single Magnaflow, even thoe it splits into two mufflers at the end.

I need to get some pics of my new exaust. It sounds really good (so I've heard) but it does have a little resonance between 3,000 to 3,500rpms. You can only really hear it from inside the car, and not at all if the radio is on.

Yeah, it's a two into one into two. It mearges into a two in one out cat, through a Magnaflow resonater, to a Y-pipe and out through two Magnaflow mufflers.
