Cost of gas

Hi everyone, Well, here in southeast Michigan I see unleaded regular going for $1.95.9/$1.97.9. 91/93 octane adds about 20 cents a gallon. Happy driving and take care, BOBB

Well, seeming as that is for 91 octane, it looks like myself and the locals here are getting screwed the most!

Anyway, its like 2.19 here. In my happy home town, like two oil companies rule the prices so they're like 5 or 6 cents more event though there is only a difference of liek 180 miles in the northward direction.

On a side note, last night I read that Chevron Texaco posted record high earnings but they said it's not cause of gasoline. Well, you know, they're so diversified in what they produce and sell.
Sinclair oil company has nothing to do with Sinclair Broadcasting..

We're paying about $1.90 for Premium in Central VA, and in the DC area (2 hrs north), it's about $2.20 in some places!

I'll hate to see what prices will be on Memorial Day weekend - and my wife was talking about taking a trip... It'll probably cost like $10 just drive around the block by then!

Awh, damn it! I'm moving to Seattle this summer, and I was hoping I could get away from the crappy prices here in Cali. Guess not.

All it takes to shut me up about fuel costs is for somebody from the UK or the rest of Europe to mention their prices.

That's what, $5.50 a gallon in our terms? Yikes. How do the grades work there? I don't remember. I assume that 81.3p/l is for a 'regular' type of petrol. At those prices, it'd cost over $80 to fill an SVX. Ow...

Driving is becoming more and more of a 'privilege' every day.

It was $1.76 when I last drove my SVX (To Reading V a few weeks ago)... Just left base a few days ago and saw that they had risen to $1.92!!! This summer is gonna suck ... And this rising gas crap is really getting anoying!!! WTF??? When are prices gonna get better??? I know, I know.... We shouldn't be complaining here in America because all over the world it costs so much more to fill up cars in other countries... Take Adelaide South Australia for example... My dad did the math to the current exchange rate and a week ago it cost approx $4.01(US) per gallon(US)!!!! This is getting stupid...

Oh Yeah New Jersey's mandatory full service is great. $1.91 at the pump for Shell premium and then I get 5% rebate off the credit card every month.

If we would just get the rest of the oil producing land to get off there butts and back to work we would nat have this problem.
I vote that we give Chris a Stryker and let him take care of the problem. Are you up for that GreenMarine??
