But I would not use the clamps that they provide.
I would use the original ones or actual fuel injection hose clamps.
And I would put the positive wire inside a legnth of fuel injection hose by itself, to protect it.
alright thanks!!

Re: Reviving the '95 (sitting for 2 years)

ha ha ha ok so i have had the parts to fix this for far too long. i tried about 6 months ago and the fuel pump had died while parked. now i'm looking for a place to buy the walbro. I cant seem to remember if i need the pump and install kit or not. i seem to remember that and needing to use longer wires etc. now i cant find a place to buy this kit that isnt ebay... I have moved and i also cant remember any of my ebay login info. the svx looks horrible after sitting for so long. It's covered in some sort of green growth lol. I want to have this car back so badly.

Does anyone have a location to buy the walbro kit?

Be careful, the fuel pumps rarely fail. Usually it is a bad electrical connection at the pump ... trouble shooting can make it worse, as you force your meter probes into the female connector at the pump, that spreads the terminal for a worse connection. I learned this the hard way, replacing the pump twice. Try just cleaning the connections with contact cleaner before buying a pump. The pump replacement procedure is also no fun...

Re: Reviving the '95 (sitting for 2 years)

Well i picked up a new toy today. 1992 SVX Lsi. Got this white one to go along with the red one. Looks like i will be stealing from the old one to get the new one in better shape. Less miles on the 92 plus leather and sunroof. The car is not in great shape by any stretch of the imagination. but will be on its way soon i hope.

Your 95 L what seats are in it?

I have a 92 LS-L with power leather but the leather is in terrible shape and I would rather drop 20+ pounds of that power seat for a manual set.

Re: Reviving the '95 (sitting for 2 years)

I like the Recaro SRD I have in my 96. But I'm a seat snob, I have Recaros in my 02 explorer also...

It was wonderful to swap the recaros into the SVX and get rid of the awful leather seats.

Re: Reviving the '95 (sitting for 2 years)

I think I will keep the seats. The sun has not been nice to the covers so I will recover them soon. Probably going to put them in the 92 if I can figure out how to use the automatic shoulder belt with them. Seems it runs through a loop mounted to the factory seat. I like the harnesses but they are a pita when using an ATM or at drive thru window. But I guess the same could be said about out windows...😉

Re: Reviving the '95 (sitting for 2 years)

Stay posted however because after I get what I need off of the 95 I will most likely part out the remainder. Or possibly restore it if get the itch
