Driver's Door Window Switches

The power window switches cluster in my driver's door has come loose from the "woodgrain" armrest insert. The end closest to the door handle has dropped about 1cm, but the top part nearest to the window lock button seems to be attached still. Does anyone know how the other end is attched? I unscrewed the 5 screws to get the door trim off to fix it, but it seems stuck at the top, so before I break something, I thought I'd check how the switch cluster clicks in first. Thanks!

Re: Driver's Door Window Switches

I've had my door trims off to refurbish all switches, and since I don't recall exactly how it all came apart, that means there probably wasn't any special trick to it.

If something is stuck, maybe there's an existing non-original repair under there?

Re: Driver's Door Window Switches

OK. Had another go and all came off nicely - I must've been too gentle - Just didn't want to snap anything!

There are 3 screws holding the switches in place, but unfortunately 2 are broken. Should be able to fix it though with a bit of epoxy.

Rest of the door, speaker, window rollers, etc looks in mint condition luckily.

Thanks!
