New guy here..

Hi! Just joined, and man I have alot to learn about Svx's. I'm in the process of getting a 92 that has been wrecked, and I hope you guys tell me its salvagable, since I'm saving it from the crusher. I don't know much about the car except I knew I hadn't seen very many so they must be kinda rare, so I bought it. I know it will cost alot to get it going but, I figure as long as I don't spend more than its gonna be worth when its done then I'm happy. Ok, so its a 92 with 120,000 miles and front end damage. It ran fine when it was wrecked but its been sitting for a few years. I know it needs front fenders, hood, headlight, turn signal, but the front bumper looks ok??, the ABS unit uder the passenger fender got broke off but looks intact, radiator is broke, and key is broke off in the ignition. The air bag deployed so I will need a steering wheel. It comes with all the original books, paper work, even the window sticker. Please feel free to tell me what you can about the car by the pictures, remember I'm a SVX noob. Thanks Joe.

Re: New guy here..

Welcome!

Well, you're definitely going to need a new passenger's side fender, headlight and hood

Definitely a keeper!

Re: New guy here..

Hopefully the pass. frame rail is straight. Your going to need a good bit of structural parts to get this one back on the raods. Good luck.

Re: New guy here..

Yeah Well the yards here don't have any to part so I will have to check bigger cities and private sellers I guess. As for the car it was bought for a parts car and they never used much off of it. They got tired of it sitting around so I'm buying it. Seems like all the missing dash parts are in the trunk so thats good. I just hope it will run good, Im gonna try to get it started and running before I even buy a body part. I dont even have to ask If I got a good deal, from looking around on here, I know i did! I will probably be asking lots of dumb questions for awhile, so forgive me.

Re: New guy here..

Congrats, from another new SVXer who saved a 92 from the jaws of death just a few months ago.

It'll be good to watch it revive. Keep us updated as it goes!
