radiator repair success

I cracked both the top plastic mounts on my radiator, where the rubber bushing attaches. I bought this Amazing GOOP Epoxies - Superweld Epoxy Paste in a black and yellow box. I slopped it on there and it has held very nicely through about 300 miles in some 80-90 degree temps. and like a moron I forgot to hook up my fans when I put my repaired radiator back in and it overheated in about 8 minutes. But even that did not break the bond. It may still be early, but I think I got away with it. Cost about $9.

Please post the official name of this stuff, the name and address of the company that makes it, and where to buy it.

Thanks.

Hi Larry. You can call me Stephen. El nino Alex is my son and he ain't old enough to type yet. It is called Amazing Goop Epoxies - SuperWeld. The name of the company is Eclectic Products Inc. in Pineville, LA 71361.

Hey Squiggy. I went to a large local radiator repair shop that said they could repair any radiator. They told me that there isn't a listing for the top plastic part of the tank. Of course they have one for every other car, but not the SVX. Of course that's just one shop. Good luck.
