Pictures of my daily driver (turbo love inside)
Hey-oh. Cleaned up the mx6 today. I didn't spend near as much time on it as I did the SVX yesterday though. lol (See my post in non-probe picture forum)
Anyway, just took it through the carwash then water-bladed it and instant detailed it. Also installed the new boost controller today, so I did a bit of tinkering too! Anyway, here are some pictures of what I ended up with. Nothing super special, just a 1g Mazda mx6 GT.... with a T3, front mount, chipped ECU, SVX FUEL PUMP!!, 3" turbo-back exhaust and supporting mods... Mwa ha haa!! Mmmm, turbo. So anyway, it has a few battle scars, but I just bought a different front bumper and grille and we're repainting them and the hood this weekend. Still on the lookout for a cheap fender locally too, so we'll see what happens! Hopefully I can get it looking good by the end of the month. Also recently I changed the air filter since the old one had some holes in it, lol and installed some PRD wires which instantly cured an off-idle stutter. Car runs like a champ now. Also, set the boost at 11psi which the T3 really likes! Anyway, it's running good for now *knock on wood* but I think the turbo is on it's way out. Looking for a rebuild kit, or a cheap replacement turbo. It's definitely a highway monster though. Honest to goodness it makes the SVX feel almost... "slow" dare I say? lol So yeah, that's what I did this afternoon... Actually, it's pretty much that's what I did just now. Oh, and then I got pulled over on the way home from the carwash for my tint. I was literally 150 feet from my house! lol Almost made it! Anyway, hope you like what you see. I know I do!

It would appear that Nevin is definitely into the black car/black rims combo!

Hahaha, it's true. People can never figure out which of my cars I am driving. To add to the confusion... here is my probe. For a little while I had 3 black cars all with gunmetal wheels. In sizes 15, 16, and 17". Then I kinda changed it up and it is what it is now. lol I don't have anything against other colors, this is just what I end up with! But I like the simple elegance of no frills black cars. It's just all business. Plus, the 6 will give most other cars the business end of a beat-down! lol

Yes, same rims. They are cheap, extremely light, and fill in the gaps well.
In my opinion for the money, you can't get a most cost-effective lightweight wheel this size. You can get as light or lighter, but you'll pay as much for one wheel as I did for the set of either of these including painting!
