Well I had it appraised today for insurance purposes and it was appraised at $14,000. Let's say I paid a little over half that...

Congratulations on the 280ZX. This was also my dream car as a kid, I glued models of it and everything. I had a line on a 83 black and gold with T-tops and 87k miles on it about 6 years ago but I was in collage and couldn't scrap the cash together. You are truly a lucky man. Enjoy

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm jealous. Congrats. She's a beauty.
Saw a lovely 240Z in Santa Cruz on Monday. After walking around it, my son said, "If you can find one like that, I'll go in with you on it." I've been talking about them for years, but he was never interested. I think he just needed to see one up close and personal. Wait until he drives one!!
