I'll bite the bullet and admit that ram was the problem. I'm still not ready to convert over on my desktop though. Something about losing thousands of songs and nearly 100+ movies just doesn't warrant the switch. Other than that it'd be nice to utilize more of the quad-core processor and 4 gigs of ram.

Everything is backed up. Just don't feel like spending the 30 minutes to install a new OS. That and I'm kinda too broke to buy it.
