brakes sound a little weird

just today i felt/heard a little ... almost creaking noise when i applied the brakes... mostly at slow speeds and i dont know if it was just the weather or what... but they mighta felt a little weak too... Ohh, the noise/feeling was only in the peddle, not the actual brakes, am i crazy?

Well you do own an SVX......

Seriously though, if it sounded/felt like it was only from the pedal (inside the car), try and lube the bracket under the dash with some silcone spray. If it sounded like it was from outside the car, but didn't effect the brakes themselves, could have been moisture causing the caliper to make a little noise. If it doesn't go away or seems to get worse, have the brakes checked out to be safe.
