clicking...

just before coming to a complete stop, i hear a very quiet click. I can feel it in the brake pedal as i slow, and then as i re-accelerate i feel it in the gas. It's just a quick and quiet clicking as I stop and then go. Its not a major problem; but i just got the trans replaced a little over a month ago... and Im very paranoid about any potential problems... has anyone heard of this issue before??

Can you tell where the noise is coming from? Is it louder if you stop/start more aggressively? What about turn sharply. Or if you rock the car backwards and forwards or from side to side while stationary?

My (non-expert) guess is that something is loose and moving around. Could be a worn mounting bush on the suspension, engine or transmission - or maybe just a bolt has come loose. Or it maybe something else entirely.

To help narrow it down, you need to figure out approximately where the noise is coming from.

Hopefully it's not the front differential.
