I have a Tom Tom and it works OK once it has loaded all the satellites.

It is actually the GPS that's your problem.Whatever model you are using is requiring a stronger signal than the Tom Tom or the Garmin, and it can't get that behind the TiOx screen.

One way around this problem is to mount an external GPS pickup outside the screen and feed to your unit, that seems to work.

The other way [probably simpler] is to buy a stronger GPS device that can pick up the signals through the screen and lock the satellites. And you know the two that will work now.
