HID Conversion Issues

Okay.

I bought a Ebay HID Ballast KIT complete with everything ya need.

Pliugged it in. nada.

Tried it on my brothers Accord. Worked Fine. My bulbs still worked fine.
Tried in on A Celica. Worked Fine.
Tapped it directly to the SVX Battery. Worked Fine.
Took out the plugs, Soldered the harness. Nada

Voltage Reading on The Battery to power Supply -- 12.13
Supply - ballast - bulb plug - 0.0

WTF is going on. I am at wits end here.......

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this will help you, but the SVX front lights are earth-switched, which is not like most other cars - so you may have to do the wiring differently.

Earth is another term for ground. Earth switched means positive is always supplied to the headlight - when you switch on the lights you are completing ground.

You have to reverse the pins on the 9006 connector for them to work. It is pretty easy if you've worked with pins before.

Some ballasts work with either polarity, some don't.

Reverse Pins: Switch the [positive terminals to Negative and vice versa?

Do i need to rewire due to the earth grounding?

Someone please explain the difference or illustrate the difference in wiring to other cars
