Unhappy Motor that switches "Auto" to "Defrost" Broken?

Basically, on my '94 Subaru SVX LSI, when I push the button from "Auto" to "DEF" or vice versa, the fans don't switch. I have to end up going under the dash and fiddling with the lever thing that is shown in the picture. Are there still any stores online that sell this specific motor part? Or are there any solutions such as replacing a fuse? if so where can I find the location and replacement fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's part number 72041PA000 but unfortunately, it is showing as a discontinued part. Sometimes you can clean and grease the tracks and it will start working again but in my case the motor just got too weak and I had replace it. I have a used one I can sell you cheap if you want to try it. (After replacing mine the first time I collected a few spares.) Send me a PM if interested.

It is accessible without taking apart the dash, but I remember it was pretty tight space and you might want to remove the driver's seat first to make it a little more comfortable when working.

It is #21 in the diagram.
